My Passion for Computer Programming

 I’m very passionate about computer science, including computer programming. I’ve been doing it for 4 years. I started with very simple block-based programming, I did that sometimes for two years, but I didn’t do much in it. Around the beginning of 2020, I started with learning basic languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and made a few web- pages of my own.

After that I took up a challenge, and with a few other people, we came up with a system to mark the attendance of teachers in our school, previously we used fingerprint scanners, but now it can all be done just through scanning a QR code.

After that I decided to learn a few more languages, so I learnt python, and a block based language called scratch, I made a few small things with those too, I made a platformer, and a fruit ninja game where a camera detects where your hands are moving and you chop the fruits with your hands.

Then I started working on a chatbot, my goal was to make it do pretty much everything, make simple conversations with you, organize meetings, etc. I’m not done with this yet. And after everything I learnt, I also decided to teach some of it to others, so I organized a workshop for that where I’ll teach python.

In summer 2021 I started learning java, and since java is a pretty big language, I’m still learning it, and I should be able to complete that in one more month. This has been my coding journey so far.
